Pediatric Pelvic Health OT
Dr. Quiara is a pediatric occupational therapist specializing in pelvic floor health, potty learning, and constipation in early childhood. Her work combines occupational therapy, nervous system regulation, and gut-health-informed strategies, aligned with Begin Health's mission to support foundational digestive health from the earliest years.
Successful potty learning is not purely a behavioral issue; it is a profound milestone deeply rooted in child development and physiology.
When we are able to co-regulate with a child, set up realistic expectations, and look at the whole picture, kids find their way.
My job is to help parents understand what's going on under the surface of their child's behavior, so they can lead with confidence instead of fear.

No. This is a parent-coaching program, not medical care or diagnosis. We don't treat the child directly, and we don't replace your pediatrician or in-person pediatric pelvic floor therapy. For urgent or severe medical concerns, always loop in your child's doctor.
Everything is virtual. You meet with your specialist over video from home, on your family's schedule, so there's no clinic to drive to.
We don't bill insurance directly, so sessions are paid out of pocket.
We work with kids starting at Age 1.5+. If you're not sure whether your kid is the right fit, reach out before booking and we'll point you in the right direction.
Most families go from booking to their first session and a clear plan in two weeks or less. After you book, you'll complete a short intake, then we'll get your first session scheduled around your family's calendar.
You won't be left on your own. You finish with a clear plan and troubleshooting tools you can lean on long after the program ends.
No. We shape every plan around your individual child. What we build fits your family's routines and your child's needs.
Loop in your pediatrician first. Our program supports families alongside medical care and works within whatever guidance their doctor has given. For anything urgent or beyond our scope, we'll always point you back to your care team.
