Pediatric Constipation and Pelvic Floor Coaching

Personalized gut health insights for all ages

Every kid is different, and so is every plan. Our Pediatric Pelvic Floor Therapy partners gets to know your kid's full picture, from their history and habits to their diet, then builds a step-by-step path forward.

    Good for

    • Toddlers or kids who are stuck in potty training, holding or withholding, having frequent accidents, dealing with constipation, or showing pelvic floor patterns that everyday tips haven't fixed.

    What To Expect

    • You'll meet virtually with a licensed pelvic floor specialist who gets to know your child, then works through our three-phase method: calming the nervous system, building the right physical skills, and making it all stick. You'll leave each session with clear, doable steps and a plan you can actually run at home.

    Therapist Information

    • Your sessions are led by a licensed specialist and team with 16+ years of clinical experience in pediatric potty training and pelvic health. They've worked with hundreds of families and tailor every plan to your child rather than handing you a one-size script.

    How Does It Work

    • Three steps: book your package and schedule your first session, complete a short intake so we know your child's history, then start your sessions and get your plan, usually within two weeks. Everything is virtual and built around your family's schedule.

    Pediatric Pelvic Health OT

Dr. Quiara is a pediatric occupational therapist specializing in pelvic floor health, potty learning, and constipation in early childhood. Her work combines occupational therapy, nervous system regulation, and gut-health-informed strategies, aligned with Begin Health's mission to support foundational digestive health from the earliest years.

Successful potty learning is not purely a behavioral issue; it is a profound milestone deeply rooted in child development and physiology.

When we are able to co-regulate with a child, set up realistic expectations, and look at the whole picture, kids find their way.

My job is to help parents understand what's going on under the surface of their child's behavior, so they can lead with confidence instead of fear.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Is this medical care or a diagnosis?

No. This is a parent-coaching program, not medical care or diagnosis. We don't treat the child directly, and we don't replace your pediatrician or in-person pediatric pelvic floor therapy. For urgent or severe medical concerns, always loop in your child's doctor.

    How are sessions delivered?

Everything is virtual. You meet with your specialist over video from home, on your family's schedule, so there's no clinic to drive to.

    Does insurance cover this?

We don't bill insurance directly, so sessions are paid out of pocket.

What ages do you work with?

We work with kids starting at Age 1.5+. If you're not sure whether your kid is the right fit, reach out before booking and we'll point you in the right direction.

    How fast can we start?

Most families go from booking to their first session and a clear plan in two weeks or less. After you book, you'll complete a short intake, then we'll get your first session scheduled around your family's calendar.

What if we need more support after the program?

You won't be left on your own. You finish with a clear plan and troubleshooting tools you can lean on long after the program ends.

Is the program "one method" we have to follow?

No. We shape every plan around your individual child. What we build fits your family's routines and your child's needs.

What if our child has medical complications?

Loop in your pediatrician first. Our program supports families alongside medical care and works within whatever guidance their doctor has given. For anything urgent or beyond our scope, we'll always point you back to your care team.

A clear plan, and brighter days ahead for your family.
