If there’s one thing about road trips with kids that I’m sure of it’s that there will always be a need for snacks. It doesn’t matter if they ate right before you left or how long the trip is, extended periods of time in the car calls for snacks

And while it’s easy to toss whatever prepackaged snacks you can find into your bag (convenience is still king!), it pays to keep gut-health in mind. Not to say there can’t be some fun foods -- it’s a road trip after all! But traveling can be hard on your gut, so why not pack some foods that will give it a little love.

Think foods with fiber, probiotics, prebiotics and low added sugars. Stick to water when it comes to drinks and consider adding Growing Up Prebiotics for a boost!
